Original Shawarma

They had a deal on Uber, so I decided to give them a try. I ordered pickup, and when I arrived, the food was ready, well packed, and still hot. The lamb mandi shank was outstanding—cooked to perfection and perfectly spiced. Lamb can be unforgiving if not prepared properly, but this was an unforgettable meal. The meat was moist, tender, and full of flavor. The basmati rice paired beautifully with the almonds, raisins, and tomato salsa, and the garlic sauce was the perfect finishing touch. I highly commend them on a job well done. An excellent meal overall. I can’t wait to try their Lamb Shawarma.

The place is currently expanding to include desserts and offered free panckaes for a review, which were great. they also didnt ask you to write a review in front of them, which so its not an exchange for fake 5-star reviews. I love this place- theyre usually busy, yet they manage to consistently keep the dining area clean. you can see staff go out there and clean up and they keep spray bottles and paper towel rolls out that both clients and staff are free to use. i love this. it also looks good inside, not just hastily put-together (i know this doesnt matter to most people, but the atmosphere counts for me). the food is also great: high-quality meat and well-cut, generous portions of everything. i can come here knowing im gonna love what im eating every time. you ask for extra sauces and its not "an extra $2" or some bull..... and the staff are all nice- never moody or giving some surprise bad attitude- in my experience. food comes out in a timely manner and they dont mix anything up. ive bene here quite a few times, i just cant find anything that warrants less than a 5-star review. im happy to see original shawarma expanding into desserts/smoothies. dont ever go to osmows or some gross place while this is in your area. i dont have photos that do the food justice, but hope this helps !

Is this the best Shawarma in Mississauga? Yes, Next. Unlike Sumaq, this meat has flavour. The saj is good, toppings are fresh, grill on the wrap is excellent. No tricks, no frills, no having to order a secret way to get a Shawarma that looks like influencers, come in, place your order, get a hefty wrap, go about your day. Love it. As a introvert I love that I can order from the self service screens and not talk to people. The list is now: 1. Original Shawarma. 2. Lezzett 3. Sumaq.

Original Shawarma is excellent. The food is fresh, flavorful, and always cooked perfectly. The service is friendly and fast, and they prepare orders quickly even when it's busy. Overall, great quality, great people, and great speed. Highly recommended!

Original Shawarma is easily one of the best shawarma spots in Mississauga when it comes to price, quality, and taste. The portions are generous, the meat is perfectly seasoned, and everything tastes fresh and authentic. You really get great value for what you pay — it’s hard to find shawarma this good for the price. The only downside was that the wait time was a bit long, but honestly, the food was worth it. If you’re not in a rush, it’s absolutely a must-try spot for shawarma lovers.

Visited Original Shawarma in Mississauga for the first time and was genuinely impressed. I ordered the Mini Chicken Mandi and the Saj Chicken Shawarma Combo with fries — both were great! The shawarma had excellent sauces and perfectly seasoned meat, and the chicken mandi was also flavorful and well-cooked. The place has a clean, contemporary setup with convenient self-order kiosks. It was quite busy when I went, but there was still plenty of seating available. Definitely worth a visit if you’re craving quality shawarma in the area.
